Remy was our first boxer, hand-picked from her litter by our daughter, Kim.  Remy & Kim were inseparable, growing up together and doing everything together.   Remy was shown in Conformation, earning a UKC Championship, and in Rally Obedience, earning a Rally Novice Title. Remy also earned her Canine Good Citizen Award.  Remy gave birth to three beautiful litters and was truly a good mom.  She was a smart, sweet and loving boxer with an occasional stubborn streak.  She passed prematurely of poisoning, possibly caused by rimadyl.

Rebecca Kunz, breeder of Remy and close friend to Kim and Rose, expressed her thoughts in rememberance of Remy in the following original composition:  

In the heart of your girl,
the memories swirl
of the love shared...
Like a perfect heart,
loving each other right from the start.
Everyone around the two of them cared...
The girl and the fawn,
lifting her head for a yawn
cradled in the young girls arms
knowing of no harm...
The pup and the lass,
at the show winning the class,
together they stride,
while all of us are filled with joy and pride...
Throughout the hard teen years,
licked away those tears.
Comfort from, no longer a pup
and now time to grow up...
Longing for one more gathering,
one more time to catch that tear,
one more reassuring word to lose that fear,
one more...one more...one more..
Cradled now by the beautiful Swan
Gone is our beautiful fawn,
Always in the heart of the girl.
