The Beginning Of Shira
Shira Boxers was established in 2002 when our daughter Kim was training
her rat terrier, Scrappy Doo in agility at Scott County Kennel Club. Kim
fell in love with a boxer in agility class named Hope. She had wanted a
puppy from Hope but that did not happen as planned. Instead she fell in
love with Remy from Willow Wood. Remy became our first boxer. Kim got
involved with showing Remy in 4H and AKC conformation. Then came
another Boxer, and then another. Somehow along the way, Kim grew up
and I became more involved in showing our Boxers. We show our Boxers in
conformation, agility, and rally obedience. Our Boxers are AKC and UKC
registered.

We are members of Scott County Kennel Club, the Midwest Boxer Club
and the Minnesota Boxer Club.

Kim's passion today is art. She is in college pursuing her passion. Visit
the page Boxer Drawings to see some of the pictures she has drawn
for friends and family. The Shira logo is one of Kim's designs.
